@A new natural hybrid, Paph. x petchleungianum was described by Mr. Olaf Gruss in Die Orchidee 52 (5), 610, 2001. This plant was discovered by Mr. Aree Petchleung in the Province Guangxi, China. He sent the figures and photos to Germany and described. The species name was associated with his honor. This plant is considered as a natural hybrid between Paph. dianthum and villosum

The figure of Paph. x petchleungianum described in Die Orchidee

The figure sent by Mr. Aree Petchleug. The type specimen was preserved in Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medical Plants.
Leaves: 20~30 x 3.0 ~ 3.5 cm, Natural spread of flower : 10 x 8 cm, Dosal Sepal: 5.5 x 3.5 cm, Petal: 7.5 x 2.0 cm, Pouch : 8.0 x 3.0 cm.
