2)Transplanting the young plants in community pot

The best materials for growing younger plants is Sphagnum moss or mix compost, I believe. Crypto-moss, the skin of cedar, a cryptomeria is not so good for young plants because it is difficult to keep good moisture for them, especially for beginners. Sphagnum moss will be getter for planting the individual plants but not for a clump. On the other hand for the clump, mix compost is the best , you will understand. I recommend the rate of materials for mix compost as follows

(A)Good for the matured plants, general using.
(B)Good for the matured plants, I recommend. Using the tempered Akatama.
(C)My recommended mixture for any size of plants. Using ceramics. I'm using now for about 10 years.
NOTE:About ceramics, I have prepared the special site. And about Ceraton, a kind of natural ceramics, the information will be get at the site of Supply Control Co. Ltd.

(1)Prepare the net on the bottom of pot and put the larger size of Volcano stone , I use Ceraton, about 2 or 3 cm depth.

(2)Put the suitable size of mix compost on the larger stone. You have to consider the depth for the length of roots of the seedlings.

(3)Put each plant in order around the pot. The roots will go toward the center of pot. In case of a clump of plants, you put them in the center of pot.

(4)Put mix compost enough into the center of pot , first.

(5)And then, you put the mix compost from the side raising the plants by another hand and put the compost between the plants.

(6)For the clump, put mix compost around the clump first. After that, you put the compost between the plants. Be careful in this time not to hurt plants. The space would be so narrow, you make a funnel with paper ( right photo ) and put compost through the funnel.

(7)Hit the side of pot softly or drop the pot from hand to another hand about 5 cm to settle down the compost.

(8)Put the pot in a water tub and soak into the water from the bottom of pot slowly.

(9)Keep the pot under the shade stronger than usual, about to % for one month at least. Everyday, you check the plants the unusual accident. Never dry up the compost and too much water is not well also. Foe a few month, you don't need to give fertilizer until their roots grow. The temperature will be higher than usual. Although it is dependent on the species and hybrids, it would be at 18 ~ 20 ℃.

(B)Continue to use sphagnum moss for compost
