The natural variations of flower color constantly amaze the orchid enthusiasts and provide breeders new materials for creating new type. Recently, there was an album form of Paphiopedilum stonei bloomed. This might be the first record of album form of this species in the world. Three flowers and one bud with green-white color of heavy substance, lacking the color pigmentation that normally found in the typical species. The size of this flower is as follows. NS: 12 x 13.5 cm, DS: 3.9 x 4.1 cm, VS : 3.1 x 5 cm, P: 0.8 x 11.5 cm, L : 2.0 x 5.8 cm |
