Hybrids（No.7）

The new hybrid of Paph. helenae has flowered already in Germany.

This very intersting information was sent by Mr.OlafGruss, a friend of mine in Germany. Thank you , Olaf. 　This photo of flower must be the first hybrid which flowered of Paph. helenae at the nursery of Franz Glanz from Unterwoessen. It is the cross between Paph. sukhakulii and Paph. helenae. AS very nice plant very similar to the cross Paph. Grassauer Zwerg (sukhakulii x barbigerum). But they differ by the different coloured flower. Both are very small plants and very interesting for the future hybridizing of dwarf hybrids of the genus Paphiopedilum.

The left flower is Paph. Un-named (sukhakulii x helenae) and the right one is Paph. Grassauer Zwerg (sukhakulii x barbigerum).
