The 1st Paph. insigne show
The Paph. insigne show was held from the 5th to 7th in Dec. 2004 in Pati del convent dels caputxins, Arenys de Mar, Barcelona, Spain.

He was born in Arenys de Mar, a town where thousands of paph. insignes are grown by neighbours as garden plant.
This show was started by 4 friends making an appeal to the public for bringing their plants to same place all at once. All town is collaborating bringing plants.The goal of 1 thousand flowers was not reached, in the 1st paph. insigne show were counted almost 900 flowers in bloom. Next edition will be more succesful due to many people just lended 1 pot and others were not aware.
The show was a big success and the next insigne show will take place on 2006 if everything goes OK. We will try to make it bianually and adding more variety. Time will tell, I'll inform you.
