The 9th Paphiopedilum Meeting in 2004

　The North Japan Paphiopedilum Club held the annual meeting in Sendai, Miyagi-Ken in the 11th, Jan. 2004. Many Paph fans in the northern Japan joined in this meeting and enjoyed Paphiopedilums so much.

In this meeting, they had Judging by JOGA, auction and rot etc. The ending time has come in an instant. Now I'll introduce some scenes of the meeting.

　Almost of members of this club love bulldog type paphiopedilums. Many members of this club are not only collecting marvelous Paphs but also are making original hybrids by themselves. Now we know this area is one of the hottest in Japan. I hope many Paph fans especially in the Tokyo area to visit this meeting in future. Furthermore, many members begin to grow Paph species and primary hybrids in these days.
In these days, they are making the white or pink hybrids especially in these days.

　' The new information in OZ ' by Mr. Tohru Sakakibara. He loves Orchid Zone Com. and the president, Mr. terry Root. He is visiting there every month. We are very happy to hear from him about the new information of OZ hybrids '

The attendance were looked into the photos of the nice selected clones by OZ.

Mr. Ohkubo is the exhibitor of best flower of this meeting. He is very well know person who is very hot in Paphs' collection and his own hybrids.

By rot, all attendance get one of various young seedlings which Mr. Izumi breeded by himself. Some of them asked each other, which plant will be FCC in future.

Mr. Nochizuki are talking about the results of JOGA judging.

Auction

In this auction, almost of all were the modern hybrids of bulldog type. Anybody visit this meeting in the next chance.
